Big Wheel for My Big Girl

Naomi's birthday is tomorrow and we went to Dollywood this weekend. I will get pictures up soon. But Cheyenne told Naomi that we had her birthday present in the shed so Daddy had to get it out and put it together. I had gotten this Big Wheel 2 years ago for really cheap but didn't think it would be so long till she would be able to ride it. He got it together last night and this morning Naomi was so excited to get the stickers on and take it outside to ride. She had so much fun racing down the driveway. Abigail chased her.

Naomi says she is "stuck like Daddy" because a few weeks ago, Ken broke down on his way home from work.

Homeschool meeting and field trip

After church Wednesday night Cheyenne went home with a friend because we had a co-op meeting in the morning. So Abigail and Naomi found suckers on the seat from the bank. I let them each have one. On the way home Naomi wanted to drive. We always let her drive down the driveway. We were still about 3 minutes for home so I told her as soon as we got home. By the time we were on our road she was asleep. If you look closely, Naomi's sucker is in her hand with her hand on the seat belt ready to get out and drive. Somehow Abigail had stuck her sucker to Naomi as well and was trying to reach it. It was quite funny. She stayed asleep when I put her in bed too.

At C0-op Justin played his guitar for a special. He has been taking lessons form someone at church for a few months.
This is the April birthday's. We sang to them but they didn't get to blow out candles because the older children were leaving right away for their field trip. They went to the Kings Mt. Museum and to a park. I was not on that trip but I hope to get pictures from the ones that were.
The younger ones stayed and did their craft and ate lunch before going to Kid Senses.

We took the younger homeschoolers to a place called Kid Senses in Rutherfordton. I have a lot of pictures but some of the mothers didn't have cameras so I wanted them to get some pictures. We had never been there before and the children went crazy! When Kelly and I walked in the children were running around yelling "Get the hoses! Turn on the water!" They were all dresses in little fireman jackets and boots. We were the only ones there for several hours.

Abigail kept trying to get up in the truck but it was always crowded with people wanting to push the siren button, light button or play on the steering wheel.

Firemen Naomi and Camron. At first when we got there all the fireman gear was all taken up then Naomi found some that someone had taken off. Cameron went with us because he is not old enough for school yet but technically he is "home schooled." We had fun with him and Amy. Thanks for coming Amy!

Poor little Joesph only got to play on the truck and then when we went to the store, he fell and pulled the little cart on top of him and cut his eyebrow open. Meghan had to take him for stitches.

Harrison didn't look to thrilled but don't let that fool ya. He was jumping around pushing buttons first thing.

Dentist Naomi cleaning the extra large mouth. One of each type of tooth came out for them to see what they looked like. She was saying scrub, scrub, scrub.

The medical coats were also a big hit.

The grocery store a big hit. There were aprons for the cashiers to wear hanging on the wall but everyone wanted to shop, not be the cashier. Everyone had a self checkout. :)

Abigail walked in and just grabbed the Cascade since she couldn't find a buggy and was going to walk out with it. She thought that was all she needed. When she finally got a buggy we had a battle because she wanted to go out of the store with the buggy.

Naomi and Alanna checking out at the same time on different sides of the counter. The kids all like that there was a sensor that beeped when anything was scanned over it. The register even partially worked. It kept coming up error though.

Little ham! There was a garden in front of Naomi that you had to match up the shape of the hole to put the plant in the right place. Abigail was sitting in front of the barn telling me to sit by her. It was painted all inside like a barn.

This contraption is how the kids get down to the lower level. Of course the Moms didn't use this. There were stair. Abigail pitched a fit to go in this but if she had gotten stuck, it would have been a BAD DAY! If Cheyenne had been there, I would have let her take Abigail down. This is Naomi going down.

The bubble room was cool! Naomi and Abigail liked this room the most. they had a sink to wash your hands in and when I washed Naomi up she had soap clear up to her underarms!

Benjamin in a bubble. This was neat to be inside a bubble although I didn't even try it. I was so busy watching the kids do it, I didn't try it myself.

Everyone told Naomi she wouldn't be able to pull the bubble ring up around her but she proved them wrong. She pulled it all the way to the top.

The shadow room would take a picture of your shadow on the wall and would stay there for about 15 seconds so you could walk back and look at the shadow you left.
This magnetic sculpture thing was cool. You could turn down the magnetic force and everything would fall.

Stuffy the doll and I didn't get the lady's name that told the kids all about the Digestive, Respiratory, and Circulatory Systems. This also a stage and dress up area. The kids didn't play much in here but some dressed up for the lesson.

Blowing a big bubble
Abigail loves this room. It had steps, a slide buttons to push behind her for animal sounds, a cave under the platform, a barn and garden, and so much for her to climb in.
