Girls are so fun!

Wow! Are those horns? Where's the halo?? Cheyenne and the girls were playing hair salon the other day and Abigail came out like the pics above and Naomi is getting makeup on.
The next day she got into my play makeup and Cheyenne found her looking like this. Boy, do I need to show her some things!
Abigail at church wanted her picture taken. I didn't let her play with this germ-x!

VBS 911 Jesus to the rescue!

Last week we had our VBS, 911 Jesus to the rescue. We always start with pledges and singing. Abigail was in a class for the first time this year. Her teacher told me that she was really praying that Abigail wouldn't give her a hard time and she was an angel! She never cried or gave her any trouble. It was like Abigail had changed overnight.
These characters were very busy!
Christy and Alyssa, Mrs. Dianne and Ethan in the background.
Mary-Grace was having a great time singing If your happy and you know it!
The snack workers getting ready for the mob of kids.
Preacher and Alyssa
Since it was a rescue theme we had the fire truck come two night. Abigail's class was checking it out.
This is the cutest! Little Anna was eating cupcake Wednesday night and was trying to get the frosting off her lips here. She got really mad when Mrs. Marla started washing her off and brushing the crumbs off the seat. She was trying to get the little crumbs to eat! She ate the whole cupcake!
Mary-Grace thought it was yummy too.
I couldn't get Abigail singing up close here because if she saw me, she would have cried.
I forgot to take a picture of the money war but each year we have buckets that the kids bring in their money, preferably pennies because you can put more money in, for the weight. We compete to see who has the heaviest money. The girls have won for the last several years but this year the boys won. They almost doubles the girls weight.
Mary-Grace enjoying singing again.
Naomi was inside the fire truck trying to get out and her little "boyfriend" Camron came over and said he would catch her. It was so sweet.
We had a candy canon that they shot out candy during snack time every night. The kids scrambled for the candy.
Naomi in her class waiting to do her craft.
The kids studied about Queen Esther one night so they all had crowns.
Abigail checking out what was going on.

Happy Birthday Teddy!

Sunday, was my brother Ted's birthday. We went to Mom's for his favorite meal, lasagna! I love it too. Mom did a great job on the lasagna and Jen made a really good salad! I just brought the bread. Our friend Amy made the cake for Ted's birthday and did a great job again! She is a professional!

The girls were going to help Uncle Teddy blow out his candle but he did it so fast that they didn't even see it!

Naomi licked off the candle. Abigail was really enjoying the cake and ice cream. She had it all over herself and Uncle Teddy!
Hope you had a wonderful birthday Ted!

Happy 2nd Birthday Jophie!

Saturday we went to the Douglass house for Joseph's 2nd birthday party. The children played outside in a pool and this is Naomi wet and COLD???!! She wanted her towel because she was cold.

He had Thomas the train for his cake. Our friend Amy made the cake. She did an awesome job.
Abigail decided to play with the toys that Joseph had already opened. No one was protesting because they were watching him open the rest of his gifts.
His parents got him a new radio flyer trike. It was his favorite. Then Mrs. Kristi decided she wanted to try it out. He was not happy about that at all.
We had a great time. Happy Birthday Jophie!
