Last week we went swimming at our friends house. Abigail is swimming so much better. She will push you away sometimes so she can swim by herself. She has tried to push me away with no floats on. She still hasn't figured out she can't swim without them. Naomi had been watching her friends jump in and finally got up the nerve to try it herself. This is the second time she has ever jumped in. They are both doing so good. I remember Cheyenne would cling to you until she could touch the bottom. Naomi and Abigail are my Water Babies.

I am responsible!
Look, Mom, I Am Artistic!
This morning I was doing flash cards with Cheyenne for summer review and Naomi and Abigail were very quiet. Naomi comes running out saying Abigail has marker on her face. Well, needless to say it wasn't just her face. Why do I even buy markers?? At least she didn't write on her clothes! She does have some on her face it just isn't as dark as what she did on her legs.

My husband always asks me don't you watch them? Of course I do but it only takes 1 minute to get into something. Naomi got some stickers and wanted to decorate her guitar. She says it is pretty now and she is proud of it.
Yesterday was so funny!!! We heard a helicopter outside so we ran out to look. It was 2 military helicopters. The really big ones, I can't remember what they are called. Anyway, Naomi said, "I rode on one of those before!" I informed her she had not. Then the arguing started. "Yes, I have."
"No, honey you rode on a plane."
"I know I rode on one of those! I saw it on a movie and I did it."
"No, you haven't honey."
"I know I did, I am right and I know it, and you are responsible!"
"Responsible for what?!" (LOL)
"For arguing with me."
"For arguing with me."
You can't win!!! Yes, I really did argue with a 4 year old!
YES, I AM RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL THIS, I AM THE MOMMA!

Happy Father's Day!

I hope you all had a wonderful Father's Day. I did! My family came to our house for lunch and had a good time.
Thinking about the sea horse on Father's Day, you should be glad your not a seahorse. Seahorses are one of the only creatures that the male gives birth to the babies. It is quite fascinating! I'm glad God made us like he did. I loved the experience of my children growning and feeling them in my tummy! There is nothing like being the Mommy. But there is a special bond between a child and his Daddy! I love you Ken and the girls do too! You are the best Daddy to my girls!
HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!

Happy A-Day Cheyenne!
I didn't have a digital camera until last year so most of these are recent. I did however take a picture of a picture to let you see the first time we met Cheyenne. It was Easter 2000 she came to church with her Maw Maw Hazel. We didn't have children and I had Nursery that Sunday. She cried and cried and I just wanted to hold her the whole time. I wanted to take her home with me. You can't see her face but she is climbing up on the stage with Britney, her cousin, in a dress that a lady in our church made for her.
It doesn't seem that it was that long ago my little girl was so shy and wouldn't even eat with Ken around. She was so afraid of men. We would bring her home with us for the weekend and take her back to her Maw Maw's on Sundays. She began crying to stay with us and didn't want to go home, so we decided to pursue the adoption. God knew she needed us and we needed her.

We didn't think we would ever have other children but then Naomi came and is so attached to her sister. Cheyenne can make her laugh by just looking at her. They are so funny, every night Naomi says she will sleep in her own bed but then somehow they end up together. Even if it means waiting until Chey is asleep and then crawling into her bed. LOL!
This year and last year in her Patch the Pirate class at church She was given the highest honor, the Fruit of the Spirit Award. We are so proud of her.
When Abigail came along, Chey is her 2nd Mommy. What would her sisters do without her! What would I do without her! She is so helpful and such a joy to anyone that knows her. WE ALL LOVE YOU SO MUCH CHEYENNE!!!! HAPPY ADOPTION DAY SWEETHEART!
We had a few friends over to have a sleepover. We went to Sonic for drink on the way to get a movie and the girls wanted to ride the Carousel! Yea! Abigail was asleep so she didn't get in on the fun. They were suppose to sleep in the tent but one was afraid and the rest came in too. I didn't think it would last:)
