More Birthday gifts for Naomi

Naomi's birthday was actually on a Tuesday. We have sewing class at Mom's house so she called me to see if we wanted to celebrate before class. It was a total surprise to her. She wanted a monkey party but I couldn't get a monkey cake in Dollywood so Mom got a Monkey cake. She was so excited. She got her Monkey Party!

Opening gifts. A butterfly pillow form Aunt Beck and Uncle Ted.
Also from Uncle Ted and Aunt Beck, a bedspread. She loves It! It has butterflies on it.

A fur real baby ape from Nanny and Paw Paw.
Abigail likes playing with it too. She really likes that it makes noises at her.

Oh, I forgot to take a picture of the Strawberry Shortcake she got form her little friend Michaela. It came with a hair beader and bead to put in Strawberry's hair. Chey discovered that the beads she got for Christmas work with this hair beader. So Naomi asked to put some in her hair. She said she wanted to look like the little girls at bus church. LOL! I was putting Abigail to sleep when I came out I found this. She had 20 strands in her air!!!

Grams and Pops sent money and she had been begging for an mp3 player, so we went and got her one. Then she started begging for a fish. So I thought "No big deal. Get a bowl and marbles form dollar tree and get some fish that won't die form the pet store. Well, needless to say when Daddy took her to the pet store, the women sold to Naomi, the Ariel tank and 2 fish like Elmo's fish Dori. Nothing else was going to do.

Daddy set up the tank just like he was suppose to and put the balancing solution in the water. The first fish died the second night and the 2ND fish died a week later. I took a sample of the water to the pet store and they said the acid level was high and the chlorine level was high. Anyway, she now has a spotted gold fish and a little neon. Hopefully they will live a little longer. Naomi already has picked out what she wants when these fish die.

I am finally getting some pictures of Naomi's birthday and trip to Dollywood. She wanted to go for her birthday and My niece Emily got to go too which made it much more fun for her. This is Abigail reading a book on the trip to Tennessee.

We stopped at Cracker Barrel to eat and the kids loved the rocking chairs outside.

We got to the hotel around 8:00 pm and the kids wanted to go swimming before the pool closed. I did not bring the cake and ice cream for her birthday for obvious reasons. So I ran to Walmart just a little ways away while they went swimming. We had cake and ice cream at about 10:00 pm. Needless to say it was a while before the girls went to sleep BUT Mom took Naomi and Emily for a sleep over to her room. I think they were up until about 12:30 or so. What a great Nanny and PawPaw!

I Got a necklace from Cheyenne to Naomi that had big sister and little sister necklaces. She was excited about that.
Emily gave her a magnetic dress up dolls set. Really cool. They had to open it right away and play.

The next morning we went to Dollywood. It was raining all morning until about the time we got there. It only rained 1 more time when we went to eat. It was a bit chilly all day.

Abigail could have gone by herself but I was afraid she would stand up without Sissy there.

As you can see Ken was already tired and PawPaw was reading anytime he sat down. We had to wait for the show to start.

The Rhythm of the Dance was the highlight of the day for Naomi. She wanted to dance like them all day and then in her church shoes the next day.
Abigail even liked it! Daddy didn't let Naomi drive for some reason.

Before we left the girls wanted to get wet and this is where the guns were too. These air cannon guns shoot these yellow ball at a tree in the net. Abigail even got into this.

Just before we left the girls had to get wet. They love the shooting water.

Abigail just wanted to find a place to sit down and watch.
Very Tired!

While driving on the way to Dollywood we were trying to keep Abigail occupied. She liked the animal book so we started doing animal sounds. This is Naomi's imitation of a horse.
